Please bear with me as I shake down this system a bit more.  The RSS feed test of last Friday did not work with the my incumbent email marketing system so I am testing it again tonight with an updated feed link.  If it works, the system will generate a test email message to a special list that I set up for just this purpose. Like last week, please accept my apologies if you are getting an email with this silly test post in it.  Another thing I am looking for is the length of the message and is it going out entirely or only in part.  We will see.

So here is paragraph two to see exactly what happens.

This is a test post on a Friday night.  If you are on my list and receiving this, my apologies as we work behind the scenes to make sure that the RSS feed is playing nicely with the email company X.  The idea is to be able to publish a post and have it’s contents be sent out to to list members automatically, without having to manually intervene. Can you imagine manually having to go into Aweber or Constant Contact every time you publish a blog post? It would be a royal pain in the butt.

Next, during this text I am curious as to the location of the image and how that influences the RSS email blast or not? Until then, this is the end.
